Pax Guest House Tea Room

THE TEA ROOM

CONSTRUCTED DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR, THIS IS THE OLDEST TEA HOUSE IN THE COUNTRY. IT WAS A FAVORITE MEETING SPOT FOR AMERICAN SOLDERS WHO SOMETIMES TREATED VISITORS TO LIVE MUSIC DURING TEA TIME.

An important tradition of the Pax Guest House since 1932 have been afternoon teas consisting of an assortment of different teas, fresh-baked brown bread, delicious jams and jellies, or our famous Pax honey, all made by the monks. Today, we also offer a selection of afternoon teas typical of various countries; The Presidential, The American, The British, The Chinese and The Dutch. Teas are served everyday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For reservations please call (868) 662-4084.
