I came across this site while looking for rates at kapok hotel.These are lovely pictures of yopu guest house, the atmosoher seems so serene and peaceful. The birds were marvelous and the staff friendly and courteous. Though the mosquitoes were a nuisance, overall, stay was a pleasure.

We have now returned from our trip to Trinidad and Tobago and are starting to settle down after a really enjoyable holiday. Our stays at Pax and other places on the two islands were all truly delightful in their own way with the selection of birds, many of them new to us, various habitats etc. However, one of the most outstanding memories of the trip will be the friendliness and hospitality shown by both of you and your staff during our 7-day stay at Pax. This could not be bettered and some other places on the island would do well to take a good few lessons from you on this subject! Please pass our thanks on to Kenny for his excellent guiding and company and to Ivan for his driving and social comments. All in all a most enjoyable stay and we will be pleased to recommend Pax to anyone who wishes to visit Trinidad.

I visited the guesthouse, Im March with my Chemistry teacher and a few of my classmates for the Energy Alive quiz. Remember, we won it.Anyway, I was the one that commented on the music I find it so relaxing and what a convenient spot for a guesthouse. And sorry for screaming out in the Bathroom but the water was hot. I think you were not there at the time. Someone said that the whole guest house heard me. I am sorry we couldn't stay longer. Do you know that we were stranded at the airport till 11 o' clock. But I did not have anymore clothes so we had to leave.
